Mary Kang is a photographer and photo editor based in Brooklyn, New York. For as long as she can remember, she has used and made images as a way to celebrate individual identities, tell our collective stories, and collect moments in time. She has worked as a photo editor from publications ranging from InStyle Magazine to the Daily Mail. Most recently, she was part of the art department at The Society Management creating original work in-house among other things. Additionally, she is also a freelance photographer in her own right, creating images and stories for clients and publications such as Hellessy, Aritzia, Time Magazine, and Sports Illustrated just to name a few. Aside from photography and art, Mary is also a Yoga-Alliance Certified RYT-200 yoga instructor and believes that the practice of yoga, both physically and spiritually, can truly benefit (and be affordable and accessible for) everyone. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography and Imaging from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
